An experiment in authorship and agency, this series emerged from a technical failure—a drawing robot unable to lift its stylus. Stripped of precision, the machine became a reluctant collaborator, generating intricate, continuous linework on scratchboard. The resulting compositions oscillate between control and chance, revealing a latent logic within malfunction. This project explores the intersections of technology, error, and artistic intent—where breakdown becomes a generative force rather than an endpoint.
